Why Google is the primary platform
Google Ads is the only platform running direct app campaigns for NG Slot. Google's App campaigns use machine learning to optimize placements across Search, Play Store, YouTube, and the Display Network, driving users to download and open the app. This is where the bulk of budget is allocated because it delivers measurable, tracked first opens at scale. We track "first opens" rather than raw downloads, meaning each conversion represents a user who downloaded AND opened the app for the first time.

Why Meta runs traffic (not app campaigns)
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) has strict advertising policies for social casino and gaming apps that prevent running direct app campaigns. Instead, we run traffic campaigns that drive users to the app's website and download page. With a $0.20 CPC and 9.08% CTR, these campaigns generate high-quality, engaged clicks that funnel into organic downloads not directly attributed to ads. These clicks contribute to overall app awareness and downloads alongside YouTube promotion and organic discovery.

Reddit's role in the strategy
Similar to Meta, Reddit restricts direct app campaigns for gaming/casino categories. We run a traffic campaign targeting gaming communities on Reddit to reach engaged users who are already interested in slots and casino games. At a $4.42 CPM, Reddit delivers affordable brand awareness and website traffic that drives organic app discovery.
Multi-Platform Strategy
Why we run 3 platforms with different campaign types
● Google Ads
First opens (tracked installs). The only platform that allows direct app campaigns for social casino. Machine learning optimizes across Play Store, Search, YouTube, and Display. We track first opens, meaning users who downloaded AND opened the app. This is the primary conversion engine.
● Meta Ads
Traffic funnel. Platform restrictions prevent direct app campaigns for gaming. We drive high-CTR traffic (9.08%) to the website at $0.20/click, contributing to overall app discovery alongside YouTube and organic channels.
● Reddit Ads
Community reach. Targets gaming subreddits with engaged, high-intent users. Affordable awareness ($4.42 CPM) in communities where slot and casino enthusiasts already spend time.
Understanding the 1,100 Downloads
Google Ads tracked 250 first opens through its app campaigns. A "first open" means the user downloaded the app AND opened it for the first time, which is a stronger signal than a raw download count. The remaining ~850 downloads came from multiple sources: Meta and Reddit traffic campaigns driving users to the app's website and download page, the client's own YouTube channel promotion, organic app store discovery, word-of-mouth, and direct searches. Because of these overlapping channels, we cannot attribute all 1,100 downloads solely to paid ads. What we can confirm is that Google Ads directly tracked 250 first opens, while Meta and Reddit generated 1,289 high-quality clicks that funneled users toward the app. Combined with YouTube efforts, these channels work together to drive the overall download volume.
